It is a very rich Bengali traditional dish which appears in almost every household in special occasions. It is fragrant, rich and has mild undertone of sweetness which compliments with spicy non-veg Bengali dishes. It is essentially sweet in taste. Rice is such an ingredient where people from generations have experimented with. Mishti Pulao is not an exceptional one. People add different flavours according to their tastes but the essence of Bengali cuisine remains same.
